RCR has established a team of skilled Safety personnel at each of our operating locations. The Team is led by our Director of Safety and Risk who works closely with the group to carry out the mission of our CEO, Bob Richey, to create a safe working environment.

Our Team based Safety Behavior is apparent at all levels of the company, which is the reason for our success at minimizing accidents in the workplace. The safety personnel at each of our Division locations are responsible for ensuring that each and every employee is properly trained beginning with their first day at work. Before they begin their work at RCR, each new-hire goes through an interactive safety training orientation to educate them on safety in the workplace and most importantly understand the mission of the company to be “Accident Free and work safely in everything they do.”

Safety doesn’t stop there. In addition to new-hire training, our employees receive on-going safety training throughout the year as well as specialized training for job specific responsibilities such as OSHA Competent Person Training for our Foremen and Superintendents, who are also responsible for assisting in the overall safety implementation in the field through training and awareness.
